On Wednesday 15th of February, 2012

we will start with a brand new Beginners Course.

(Time: 7.30pm to 9.30pm)

Weekly classes will be conducted on every

Wednesday evening.

Duration: 3 months (12 group lessons = 24 hours)

in order to master the very basics of the Dutch language.

Course fees: S$ 600/-

Cost of your textbook plus multi-media teaching aids: S$ 150/- (cd-rom; Windows & Apple MacIntosh Operating System)

We are using ‘De Delftse Methode’, which is a proven effective method for foreigners who aim to learn the Dutch language thoroughly and efficiently.

These interactive teaching aids are Developed by the renowned Delft University of Technology.

After our basic Dutch course (24 hours = 3 months) you will have reached NT2 level A1.  This is also the required proficiency level for passing the MVV exam (Civic Integration Examination New Style, so if you are planning to sit for your MVV Exam any time soon, attending our NT2-A1 Beginners Course would be a good choice.

Depending on your further wishes, you are free to decide whether you would like to sign up for our NT2-level A2 proficiency course, in order to further improve your Dutch language skills, or to attend our targeted, specific Civic Integration Training Course in order to prepare yourself thoroughly for your MVV exam in an efficient and effective way.

Please note that regarding the Civic Integration Exam at the Dutch Embassy (for getting an MVV), reaching NT2 level A1 is very useful, but additional hands-on training sessions will still be necessary, since reaching level A1 alone is not sufficient in order to pass your exam.  You will need to practise a lot, so that you will get familiar with all the different elements of your Civic Integration examination:

(1) repeating many Dutch sentences,

(2) answering lots of short questions,

(3) generating quite a bit of Dutch opposites,

(4) answering questions about Dutch society,

(5) reading aloud many Dutch words + sentences + stories

(6) fill in the blanks

(7) answering questions about a couple of texts (comprehensive reading)
