In December 2005, MediaCorp has invited Native Dutch Language Teacher Matthieu Quere to teach Singaporean top-actress Zoe Tay how to pronounce some of the script lines of sitcom The Perfect Wife in correct Dutch.
It is nice to see that Singaporeans regard Dutch as a quite special, truly exotic language. The MediaCorp producers even wanted to make sure that the Dutch text lines would be perfectly pronounced, and that is not only very professional, but also quite flattering.
Matthieu found it a great privilege to work together with charming Ah Jie, also known as the ‘Queen of Caldecott Hill’ where the shooting took place.
